Totem Audio, the studio side of my work, has emerged to be my most focused passion in collaborating on, creating, and sharing sound-works with the world.

Totem Audio was born out of my own unearthing, as a musician first, to better understand why a recording can take such a palpable hold over our experience. 15 years into discovery, that search has evolved from a drumming and live performance-centric focus into a suite of instruments and chosen pieces of kit to translate that feeling of boundlessness onto record in a multitude of contexts.

From my studio, we can work as your needs dictate either remotely or in-person on a myriad of sound works ranging from drum-tracking, to production, mixing, or mastering.

In addition to album work, I’ve written and produced advertising spots for companies like Hydro Flask®, created sample libraries for Timbaland’s producer resource company, Beatclub™, and sent drum tracks out for games by Jackbox Games®. Any scoring or production work set to picture (film/visual media) is encouraged although I do not have a Dolby ATMOS monitoring configuration at my studio.

When working remotely, I’ve grown to love Audiomovers (https://audiomovers.com) and utilize it constantly from my space. The software does an amazing job at sending you high-fidelity remote monitoring straight from my DAW as we work.
